Just checked Paddy Power and they've got Heskey at 5/2 for making Brisbane Road his next permanent home! I really hope this is just a case of bookies trying to cash-in on wild rumours, but that sinking feeling is starting to take hold.

Didn't we learn from Symes Well......he scored twice for us out of about 20 appearances, and one of those was in a FA Cup game! Came to us on a free transfer and we took a punt. Didn't pay off for either concerned, but we got Matty Baudry at the same time under similar circumstances, and he's working out just dandy-o!  In to each life (or football club) some rain must fall!
