Peter was a favourite player of many O's fans, myself included. He was a very stylish player with a lot
of skill and like many players of that era could also "mix it" when needed. He went toe to toe with some
of the hardest players around. I remember him looking after the great Laurie Cunningham when he was being
kicked off the park by a couple of Chelsea players who shall remain nameless!
He was hampered by injuries throughout his career and often played when perhaps he shouldn't have.
I reckon he played in just about every position bar goalkeeper while he was with us but midfield was
where he figured most. A great servant to the club who will be sadly missed. RIP Peter.
