The problem with england is a player like Mainoo he may become a great player but he's had a couple of decent games for Man utd and gets a call up for england.Had he been playingfor a club like Fulham or Luton he'd be nowhere near the team.Southgate is starstruck by so called big clubs

Nah , watching Wales V Poland on S4C with no commentary cos I can't speak Welsh 😄😄 I've watched it from the kick off too. Left the sound on and not really noticed I haven’t understood 95% of what they have said. Can't see either of these troubling the French or Dutch in the group they will be in. |

I thought England played pretty well tbh. Offensively they have many threats, Bellingham, Bowen, Foden, Toney looked lively and with Saka and Kane still to come back into the team. But defensively they were horrible. If that back four starts a tournament England are doomed. Lewis Dunk is in no way international standard, even Pickford made a terrible mistake. Oh for the days of David Seaman, John Terry and Tony Adams.

Never realised how out of touch and disinterested I had become in the English team until I looked at the team sheet and recognised only about 3 names whereas I recognise most of the lower division players names outside of the overpaid entitled Premier league.
