Maybe the American investors are already in the building? I do see the current investors, investing some more and being apart of the future growth, otherwise why would they have got involved during the last round of investment?

There is a lot in this post and it’s appreciated. It was also a fun read. We all know it depends on which American investors and why they would get involved. It’s dangerous if it’s just about the money, but I feel confident that NT and KT and the other members of the board are very serious about this club and its future and they will personally vet whoever they are bringing in. I don’t mean they will just look at the terms of the financing or the books. It’s going to take the right kind of people in the same way it’s taken the right kind of people since the turn around from the previous bad actors. The openness and consistent honesty from the people speaking on behalf of the club inspires trust. I really hope they get this right. Thanks again for your blog.

Really great read! Thanks for sharing. Nice to get a peek behind the magician's cloak and reassuringly down at heel it is!

An interesting viewpoint albeit - I suspect - written with tongue firmly in cheek!😄 Any new investors ( American or otherwise) will struggle to gain a real insight into the psyche of the O’s. If they want to get a glimpse of it they might do well to look at the reaction this week to the death of our former player Peter Bennett. Numerous tributes from fans and former players for a man who last played for the club over 45 years ago but is nevertheless fondly remembered by the loyalists. Tough to “buy” that imho.👍

One of the reasons the close season is a blessing. No o's matches to fret about. But then there is England's Test Matches. The Euros with England will be a sideline to amuse.
