That's really s***e news. I was hoping to applaud him off at our last home game of the season. Maybe even get a quick word to say 'thanks and you better sign for us'.
If you read this Miz, thanks for your contribution. You've been a vital part of our success. I wish you all the best in your next move (but I hope you stay with us).
Not to little our remaining squad but even if we won today, securing playoffs without Miz would be difficult considering we're already bare.

Shame for the O’s and the player himself. It does however give Sanders, Galbraith and Brown an opportunity to get extra game time which may stand them in good stead for next season.

Sad to hear the news about El Miz, but with Ipswich potentially being promoted, they may well listen to an offer from us to buy him in the summer. Other sides might not have the same interest either, for a player coming back from injury. Thanks for your efforts over the past two seasons and good luck with your rehabilitation.

It seemed to twist so medial ligament could be at risk.
Gutted for him as he’s been arguably our best player for two seasons now in my opinion. I hope the club has “got an understanding” with Ipswich to buy him in the close season. It’s free money as he will be worth a whole lot more in time than what he would cost us. Ipswich are looking good after last nights win so Idris moving on might be best for the player and club. RW said in the past month or so he loves it here, his family love him being here as they jump on the Eurostar and are here in no time at all. Family is important and that just may sway things our way especially as we have intentions to get to the championship and let’s be real he will be one of the main players driving us there.
I hope the board are able to make this happen as Idris could be the best or one of the best signings this club ever managed in its history.

Best of luck, Miz. You've been a top player for the past two seasons. When you recover, I hope the Board make a decent offer to buy you from Ipswich so you can lead the promotion charge next season.

Idris will be at the last home game I am sure.He and the whole squad deserve a rousing cheer and thank you for the great season we have had despite overwhelming injury problems and fixtures. He seems part of the furniture now, lets hope we can find the money to sign him if he wants to stay.

He will be of interest to bigger and richer clubs than us. I’d love him to stay, even on loan, but it’s unlikely.

Ay,there's the rub. However if the PL cough up the £900,000000 sharpish. I think what you suggest is one on the arguments against more EFL club funding. The funding is to make clubs sustainable but the feeling that clubs will use the money to chase the dream and remain unsustainable as a consequence, even financially in more difficulty will result. Have to say our owners are sensible, but can imagine some clubs being a little less careful.

I'm not sure either is correct. Nigel has said we can afford to get to the championship as it is now, he has also said echoed by MD can't think of his name right now who said we are ready to get there now and our projected budget wouldn't just allow us to survive but thrive, not near the top but not fighting relegation in the first season either. I would agree not super rich as in hundreds of millions but certainly super rich in the tens of millions bracket, maybe more as Kent recently sold a business and must have made a few quid. Anyway, money isn't everything and I'd rather have these owners than people like he who should not be named. We can get to the championship under Richie with the support of the board. Here's an article I found about the wealth of the owners. Not sure how accurate it is. footballleagueworld.co.uk/how-wealthy-is-leyton-orients-owner/

I think bigger, richer clubs will be able to outbid us, and afford his wages, so I doubt if we'll see Idris playing for us again. He will take a lot of replacing next season, that's for sure
