Not only did Brown's clearance bounce off the scorer's chest ands not go out for a goal kick, it bounced off in a perfect position for him to run on to. Then he faced Omar who blocked him off but he swung a boot and the ball went through Omar's legs. Ronnie O'Sullivan wouldn't have taken that shot on. You can't beat luck like that.

Just one of those moments when what can go wrong, does. Brown had a top game and it’s wrong to hold that moment against a player who was class all game.

As evident an example as you're likely to see of the benefits of playing out from the back. Could've played an easy pass to Beckles but instead the split second it took for him to get in position to hoof it clear allowed the attacker to intercept it.

It looked like a tired mistake froma player who had given everything. That's football. Nobody would hold that against Brown, who had a good game up to that point and has had a fine season, as indeed the club has.
Looking forward to next season,fewer injuries and a championship push.
