It seemed that the ref instructed Ollie to leave the field before the second half started and then the kick off went ahead before he was allowed back on.
Any refs online to confirm if the ref actually had the power to do this? And what about proceeding with us only having 10 players on the pitch?

I saw that and thought he must have those ridiculously small pads in like an inch or so in height. The ref obviously clocked he didn't even have those in and made him put some pads in. The ref is correct in asking him to put pads on as its a law of the game and he is also correct in the game continuing until he has done so.

The ref hardly raised his game past walking pace,and 4 minutes added time caused a few gasps.

The ref hardly raised his game past walking pace,and 4 minutes added time caused a few gasps. Now he has refereed a few games in the Premier League, he thinks he is above L1 and doesn't have to run.
