A bit random but Man City player Oscar Bobb really sounds like a genuine greyhound name to me, he could easily be running out of trap 6 at Romford. Does anyone know of any other footballer who also could have an alternative greyhound name?

Used to like going to Clapton Dogs on a Saturday night, then up into the Casino to play pontoon and roulette.Never took much money to lose but very exciting with the occasional win.

Died in harness - literally ! Collapsed after finishing third in its final race if I recollect correctly!

I remember back when my late mum telling me to put some money on a Horse called Fanny Fag Ash. I duly went down the bookies and placed a couple of quid each way. Horse was on long odds but hey presto it won.

Walked home from Clapton dogs many times after doing my money ☹️ Never ever did that, but my friend either lost his wage packet or had it nicked at Clapton dogs.So as he was such a great friend I gave him half my wages.Skimped for a week but have had that gesture paid back manifold. My dear brother who was working with that friend had £350 to pay for carpet, and he had that nicked on a construction site.My mate won a little more than that on the horses that day and gave my brother the £350 that was nicked.
