Give them an extra bonus if they do it, Nige. Nice thought, but you can’t do that as all bonuses and any payments to players all have to be declared to the FA and PFA prior to the season starting. This ensures a level playing field throughout the season and stops owners from saying things like beat xyz today and I will give you all 500 each, that would distort the competition and open it up to abuse.

Trouble is some of the players are looking like they will not be Orient players next season.

Some looked as if they could not be bothered to put in a good shift, even allowing for end of season tiredness. If Cheltenham were not so poor and missed their chances we would have been well beaten.Unusual for a RW team. I wonder out of all that played yesterday, who will be here next season having been given another contract.

I don't agree with that. I can't blame anyone for not being able to find that extra 5% when there's nothing left to play for and you start feeling the effects of a gruelling season. I don't think anyone was that bad, other that Edwards looking out of his depth, but he had a go.
Victor mentioned something on comms about how a lack of experience can affect your decision making once the lactic acid starts kicking in. Dunno if there's anything to that but thought it was interesting given the age of this side. Hadn't heard it before.

It's real it happens and you will slow down in speed and responsiveness. www.scientificamerican.com/article/why-does-lactic-acid-buil/

Didn't see Richie's interview so not sure if that's what he meant.

I would love to finish the season above Stevenage especially and Northampton as well, just like last season.

The players will know by now I would have thought if they were going to get new contracts, reason why we released Drinan and Thompson because they weren’t. However there might be a couple out there who have been offered new deals but perhaps are looking at pastures new and potentially wouldn’t want to get injured before they make their decision.

My point, but maybe I have been too forthright.
