The thing is if every team is doing it the result must be stalemate.I remember when Millwall had the hypnotist Skidmark or something similar trying to help,it just bought mirth among the players.

There are many variables in play at any onetime. Take a corner. Wind direction, speed of wind, the delivery, is it played with power, is it floated in, then there’s the runners or maybe there static, then you have defenders making blocks, or holding then you have a keeper will he come or stay, then there’s the timing of the run to the delivery and can a clean connection be made whilst a defender is trying to challenge you. There’s many more things that can happen at a corner I’ve just listed a few.
When you get it right, you might score, more often than not one of the variable or the many more there are will stop you.

So true, often look at the match replay and see why a seemingly easy chance is missed.Variable bounce and the slightest mis-judgement is often the answer. With headers most misses are because they do not head with the full forehead or the ball hits another part of the upper body.I scored my only "headed" goal with my shoulder.
