We're playing at Derby on Saturday, in terms of the predicted result, I've formed this view....
Derby are fighting for auto promotion and need the three points. We not really fighting for anything much.
We don't have Graham, Happe, Archibald, Beckles, Cooper, El Mizouni from a squad smaller than Derby's. Agyei and Forde are operating at reduced capacity. We have a team of youngsters, some of whom are too young and some way from being league ready. Pigott is mostly mis-firing and Sanders still needs to build more strength and really does not want another injury. Galbraith is a star in the making but is no full-back, he got slaughtered by Exeter.
Unless they are a bit thick (and they are not), Derby will cruise to a 2-0 or 3-0 lead and then conserve their energy for the battles to come, we won't threaten them much.
No blame, no negativity, we're doing great on a budget but the number of injuries is beyond belief.

They have drawn their last 2 and also have plenty of injuries of their own ,so who knows .

Why do we believe we are the only team who suffers from injuries. Maybe in January we had the opportunity to reduce the impact but didn’t. Some self-inflicted issues too.
Having said that I don’t expect much against Derby, it’s just nice to be playing a team of their stature in a league game again. Nothing game for us so whoever plays I hope they enjoy the experience, the result means nothing to us but I’m sure the team will try and who knows!

Hope Derby go up. They've got a good keeper out of contract and they probably won't extend if they do 🧐

Derby are desperate for three points, they are in a battle with Bolton, and only 1 of those will go up automatically.
I reckon they will be nervous, and if we can keep it goalless for 35/40 mins, they will panic a little, what with the crowd getting restless too etc.
They could commit too many men forwards to try to force the goal, leaving them vulnerable, to a breakaway
If seen this scenario play out loads over the years
we'll see

A great start to the thread by Fisch, and opinions to be reckoned with. I'm less worried about this and agree with the view that Derby will be nervous. I don't think we've had a game for a while which has sparked such a wide gap in peoples' opinions.
