Shame as he’s done a good job. Maybe the not the last to go? No truth in the rumour that we are hiring Carl Fletcher in return!😆👍

Loans manager I think judging from his interview. Shame, he’s been a big part of our recent success. But a move to a premier league club, can’t argue with that I suppose.

Once an O… my wife said she's gutted, but when he will be trebling or quadrupling or even more his pay, you can't deny him or his family that opportunity. Sad to see him go, but that will now give someone an opportunity to step up.

Matt seems to be saying he's had enough of the outdoor stuff, the training ground, cold mornings, winter training sessions etc. I can understand that.

Matt's been a bloody good member of the Orient team, both player and coach.
Gutted to see him go but he gets nothing but my best wishes. How could you turn down going to a PL club?

How could you turn down going to a PL club? continue with his development and further his education in a nice part of the country.Good luck to him, perhaps once established he could influence some loan signings?

Wonder what role he is going there for? Or did I miss it?

Congratulations on the move Matt and thank you for everything you’ve done for the club. As others have said, an opportunity for Pratley if Richie sees him able to switch roles.

Wonder what role he is going there for? Or did I miss it? You did. Organising player loans seems to be his primary function according to MH. I think a certain Carl Fletcher held a similar role at Bournemouth previously?
