Tbh I’ve not been impressed with either Adu-Adjei or Edwards. Not sure coming to the O’s helped them or us.

I think we'd have seen more of him if that was the case. Probably right. Having said that, I'm a bit puzzled why we've played him at all during the recent depressing run, given that we could have given, say, Pegrum a chance. Then again, RW moves in mysterious ways. He's on loan so I presume we aren't able to recall him outside of the transfer window.

Wouldn't go so far as to say I've been impressed, but Adu-Adjei at least seems to have something about him. I feel a bit sorry for him having to split shifts with Edwards, who's played twice as many minutes and has been completely anonymous in every single one.

Judging young players certainly isn't easy. Presumably Edwards is viewed as having promise. Not all of us were impressed by Forde when he arrived, while some might go so far as to suggest that Ruel is still a work in progress ... Nkrumah appears to be with Dagenham.

I’m quite sure Edwards is viewed as having promise. When he was signed in January however it was clear that given the circumstances at the time the O’s needed someone who could deliver there and then. Sadly that wasn’t something that the club was able to achieve.😕

Supremely confident Richie stays. And I expect he is excited to deploy from the start of the season our (possibly) fantastic attacking options. O'Neill, Agyei, Graham, Archibald (when fit), Ruel...
Obiero signing is a must, looked great. Love for Happe and Simpson too.
I think some outgoings will be announced early. I expect Richie to command the window this summer.
New LB with Sweeney backup - yes. I like that. LB & Striker our most obvious holes...?

And yes, despite temptation must refrain from judging younguns too harshly. I thought veeeery little of Forde for a considerable number of games considering the impact he went on to have.
Exciting time of the year. To dream and hope and, even a little bit, fear.
Also will say as much as Piggot has looked he has been a cracking person to meet and represent the team. Wish him the best whatever happens. A good fella.

RW staying has less to do with our squad and budget and more to do with the quality of any offers that may come in. If one is fantastic enough it could be too difficult to turn down. But great offers, sufficient to tempt him may not come in.

Forde has had a strange time here. I didn't realise he'd played in 37 games, and for the first few of these he seemed to be very prone to getting into offside positions. Then he really caught fire, but lately has gone off the boil. Will Watford want him back? He's not played a first team game for them yet, but they've had a pretty drab season and might see him as a good option.

S w O, spot on forde seemed to have no idea about the offside rule and he has largely remedied that, now he needs to realise that he cannot beat every defender and look to find team mates.

Some time ago it was stated that we have no chance of signing Forde as he is very highly rated by his parent club.

Started the season as a nine running onto balls over the top and holding up play. Always offside. Switched to the wing, now running at players and usually from a bit deeper. Rarely offside. Have to credit Richie for that.

Then he really caught fire, but lately has gone off the boil. Understandably as a youngster, his level of performance has very much followed that of the team in general - a bit slow out of the blocks, then a gradual improvement, followed by a very good spell and finishing with a bit of a decline. I would say he has been one of our better loan signings in recent seasons and would be very happy if it were possible to secure his services for another 12 months.👍
