Having watched Coventry today, if we were to get back to where I believe we belong, it's gonna be tough. They are another level and plus that on where we are right now.
However, I'd take that to get back there.
COYOS let's have it!!

I think it's a bit of a bonus that we didn't make the playoffs this year we are nowhere near ready for the championship.A really good summer transfer window and better luck with injuries however and this time next seasonmay be a different story

Ipswich? They’re not having a bad season after being promoted last season..Coventry,not long ago in league 1 and not having a bad season..Next season’s “Ipswich” could be Derby or even Pompey..These are big teams and sometimes they get a momentum going..

The top six clubs apart from lincoln are all clubs that have recently been much higher up the football pyramid than us we were non league just a few seasons ago

It's maybe a shame we didn't make the playoffs but I also think it's a massive bonus we're not getting promoted. Realistically I think we need another two seasons in League 1 before we could be Championship-ready. And that pretty much accords with the thinking of the O's management. Whether RW is still with us in two years time I rather doubt though.

Don't forget Coventry are just outside the teams trying to get to the Premier league. It's a big gap to where we are now.

I don’t see missing out as any sort of bonus.

I don’t see missing out as any sort of bonus. One downside to play-off involvement is the long delay in forming up contracts for the following season, neither side knows in which league the club will be playing so other options are taken up and settled and are unavailable once the play-offs are finished. There's also a much shorter rest time for players before they have to start pre-season.

Tuned in just as Coventry missed their first penalty.I enjoy the Championship and sometimes while watching I feel we could give what some of the teams within give.

You are both right on this one.
