If a top 6 finish is on for next season concentration in defence and keeper are a must

It hasn't got much mention but we've been more like a sand castle than a fortress at home this season. It's a reflection of where we are at though. Thankfully we broadly achieved our objective and can now look forward.

A strange home season for sure,very few teams looked like they would beat us but our many defensive blunders and missed chances made sure we did lose.
A very satisfactory season nevertheless.

Irrespective of the opposition or our team selection what is frustrating to me is the focus on the need for some people including possibly management to have a superior ball retention %. - as if that is a KPI for being classified as superior.

Most teams seem to play in that style.Also I have lost count of the goals I have seen in all divisions and all countries of playing out from the goalkeeper,many are comical in their application.
