Three really good passes and three really good goals. We should have dealt with the goal better either the centre half takes control of the cross or the keeper comes and takes it.

Good work from Obiero for the first goal. Howes wasn't at fault for their goal. Agree on both points. Not for the first time this season, Beckles loses the ball in a quite unnecessary way and nearly costs the Os a goal.
So nice to see Galbraith chipping the keeper for his goal, something more forwards should learn the technique to do when in a keeper to beat situation.

Walking out of the ground yesterday I was mingled with the Shrews fans and they were really impressed by us. In particularly the third goal of ours which they were raving about. I wasn't talking to them but just listening in.
Some quotes of choice:
Cut us to ribbons
Didn't look like they were out of 2nd gear
The passing and movement for this level was refreshing to see
Should have had at least 5
Took their foot off the gas
If only we had a style of play like that
I didn't have the heart to mention that it was a patched up team with arguably our best players missing and our manager gone walkabout.

If the chance had occurred, it would not have hurt to have some friendly banter with the opposition fans about both teams season's, players etc. |
