Ha ha.
Do you have an amazon prime account? Do you buy stuff from amazon? If you do there is an option to get free deliveries for something like £8 a month. As part of that deal you get access to their music catalogue (every band you can think of is there) plus all films, TV shows and box sets.
So if you have that option or subscribe to it you can then go to the prime site and watch it for free. For example I downloaded a film last night (expendables 4) and I was watching it on the train today.

Couldn't resist watching it again. I was under the impression at the time, that the documentary makers were fans. Are they still fans? Would be interested if anyone knows the after story? Especially if the know how much Amazon paid for this! More than that Wrexham nonsense, I hope.😄

I remember once watching a review of it on YouTube that gave a bit of backstory. Apparently the documentary maker was fresh out of film school and this was her first documentary. She wanted to make a film full of pathos about the emotional toll working in a football club can have. She was apparently so disillusioned by the fact the reaction to the film focused entirely on ridiculing John sitton that she left the industry and never made another documentary. I can’t vouch for the truth in any of that, just something I heard on a YouTube video.

My dad knows/knew her. Not sure if they're still in touch but I'll ask him tomorrow.

Thanks for that. Also the new series of Clarkson’s Farm is on Amazon Prime, it’s well worth watching and hilarious as always.

Just watched it. My view of John Sitton has changed from the sacking clip we all remember. Loyal, passionate and talented. Got a raw deal in general.
