Someone asked Devlin in his recent Q&A if the club were going to do an away season ticket. Has anyone heard anything further about this?
Next season is going to be so exciting I can't wait to be a part of it supporting the team all the way back to where we belong.
The Championship.

Is that even possible?

I suppose it is possible as long as the number of away season tickets sold does not exceed the away allocation at each and every away game.
Obviously you'll have to pay full whack not like a home season ticket.

Was there any away game where it didn’t go to general sale? Seems pointless unless you forget to apply for away games in time.

I guess an 'away season ticket' could give those who purchase it priority for tickets over season ticket holders?

Difficulty with a season ticket is it guarantees only one away ticket. No good for me and others who travel in pairs to away games. Last season I bought two season tickets just in case. The excitement of league 1 football.
If a season ticket offered the opportunity to but 2 away tickets then I would buy one and release back to the club the seat when I am not attending so they could sell it again, next season I won’t attend most of the time, crap journey, expensive, tiring, boring and I’ve done it for more years than I ever felt I would. Travel disruption last year, the final straw.
But our plan for next season is to get to lots of away games. Many are a damn site easier to get to than Brisbane Road and a site more enjoyable with the chance of a few days away. So an away ticket priority system is one I would subscribe too. But that’s not fair on those who have shelled out for a season ticket they must come first and I understand that.
So we will take our chances with tickets and hope to see us play a lot.

As has been said, the amount of sell out away tickets we get is not too often. Someone on here who lives in the north of England, often has difficulty in getting tickets delivered to his door in a timely manner, as some clubs release tickets to away supporters late, then he has to wait for season ticket holders to have their turn and so may be reliant upon the Royal Mail getting tickets to him in 2 or 3 days. An away season ticket would give that guy priority and take some of the uncertainty out of the process for him. Admittedly for our loyal supporters travelling from the south to the north, they could be faced with the same issue. No perfect way to do this, but if an away season ticket was a nominal cost, say £20 per season, why not give it a try?

Season ticket holders, away season ticket holders, general sale. I do agree about tickets being made available earlier. More than once I’ve been sweating on getting mine through the mail, the club send them out quickly once available. In time I’m sure football will catch up with theatres where print at home is available. Just booked a show and printed tickets minutes later. Worry free.

Doesn't the One Orient plus membership (or whatever it's called) already provide priority booking after season ticket holders. I got to 14 away games last season (I'm based in Sheffield) and got round the problem of getting tickets together with the mate I go with, by asking the club to link our membership for ticket purchases. Either of us can buy for the other. I'm happy to pay the membership fee for this benefit- takes some of the worry out of getting a ticket as long as you stay on top of the away ticket release dates.

Thanks. I forgot about that. Someone else mentioned it a while back and it slipped my mind. 👍 Just looked it up. If I get two memberships and link them (didn’t know you could do this) then can get a pair of tickets for away games after season card holders. That should be enough to get to the games I want. Assuming the new season offers the same system.

What I would expect would happen is all clubs release their ticket price, let's say for ease it's £10 across the board, that's £230 for a season ticket. You get a guaranteed ticket every away game, Orient get a cut in the tickets sold everyone wins.
In my mind it would drive individuals to commit to attend more games knowing they've already paid. I might be wrong?
