This has just been posted up. Is it his goodbye? At 25 mins it seems like it might be, but then he says never say never.
Idris if you read this, thank you for everything you've been in my opinion our best player for two years. Your a credit to yourself and your family.
If there is the smallest chance you could return, I'd love it as we all would. If not thank you for everything and I wish you all the best for the future, I will certainly be following what you do and maybe as they say "we will meet again"

There was that bit of hope at the end. But whatever, he's been brilliant in both seasons and deserves huge thanks from us all.

I've just watched it too. I was half expecting (fully hoping) to see him sign a contract to stay with us at the end of the video. Unusual for a club, our club, to put out a departure video. I don't recall any other player having that. I feel our club have a little gest/wind-up mentality when it comes to its announcements, so am now expecting another announcement in due course on his signing to stay with us.
If Idris doesn't play again for us, I thank him for his important contribution and wish him the best.

There's a touch of the dramatic at Orient these days, and why not? Idris has done well for LOFC and for himself. A marriage made in heaven.

Idrs El M izouni’s contract at Ipswich ends in June 2024. I guess he is waiting to see if they offer another contract and that would put him in the premier league.

Strange one having a video for a loanee, we don't tend to do it for players we are parting the ways with.
If the club want to make him feel special, then lets hope it works.
Come on Ipswich, seal your promotion to the Premiersh1t.

So pleased it was put up.I enjoyed the whole of it and the utter joy he exudes at playing senior football and finding Leyton Orient the ideal place. The longer I saw it,the more I wanted Idris to sign for a few more years. Thank you for the pleasure it was to see your style of football. You have become a legend in two years.

Ipswich just scored so the only way they're not going up is if already relegated Huddersfield score at least two. Hopefully that plus his current injury means they might just let us have him 🙏🫣

If he can keep Ipswich in the PL without overspending, will surely be one of the great achievements of recent times.

As for Idris, you have to think he is now surplus to requirements at Ipswich. Wether they will use the threat of extending his contract to extract a fee or not is debatable, especially as they have a lot more on their plate this summer to focus on.

Alf Ramsay did the same for Ipswich many years ago and then won the first division, that is why he become the greatest manager of England. One of his players Ted Phillips went on to play for Leyton Orient. Please put me right if I have given the wrong information.

Perhaps the video was a way of softening him up to accept a future offer to sign for us when he is released by Ipswich.
However, who's to say that RW and the recruitment team haven't already identified someone even better than El Miz?
