My favourite moment was when I saw the score against Stevenage away. The house was rent asunder by my extra loud shout of the word YES. The word David Coleman would often say in his great commentaries when a team scored.

Extraordinary footage.
A lifetime away.Military presence at the match with marching soldiers and a band. War to end all wars, if only that had been true.

So right osoldguy, almost every family in Britain must have had a relative who died or was wounded in that hell of a war.I had a grandad who had a leg amputated during the conflict.God bless them all.

My great grandmother who was alive in my lifetime, lost four brothers at the Somme. I’ve paid my respect a few times now and will continue to do so through my lifetime. They maybe gone, but they will never be forgotten.
