Wow, it’s 2.20am and nothing here in Kent maybe they’ve been and gone? They’re there. Better with a camera as they can handle the wavelengths better (or something techie like that). Visible with naked eye once your eye adjust to the dark (we were out for 10min before ours adjusted).

I was in the arctic circle for a few days 2 months ago and didn't even see em then.

I could see them here last night. I don’t think we’ve ever been able to see them in my lifetime this far south. Truly beautiful.

Took some prescription drugs for neuropathic and other pains.I so much wanted to see this and am usually an insomniac,but of course I nodded off and did not awaken till 5.30.Maybe another chance tonight.

It would be a waste of time if Joe Pigott saw the Northern Lights as he cant tell his Aurora from his Borealis
