If we got to a playoff final again some time soon how many tickets would we sell i reckon we would sell close to 35 thousand given our recent increase in new fanbase what do others think Given there were around 23,000 for FA Trophy final, I would expect at least 35,000 for a League One play off final. For FA trophy, I brought along 7 non-Os for the day out. If enough tickets were available, I think 40,000 is feasible. That written, 36,550 is the allocation for Wembley play offs, so I would say 36,550

35000-40000 hangers on or not, some will stay. But red ,we very rarely sell our own ground out . We’ve been to Wembley a few times before and people come to watch but not a lot actually end up as new fans .

I don't think we are allowed a sell out.Our attendances get better with our progress,we are now an ambitious football club that play very attractive football.

But red it appears to me when I have been to games that there is always loads of empty seats all over the stadium . On some occasions the official figure from the club might say 7500 but when you look around it was obvious there was less than 5000 in the ground .

Not too sure about the 5000 but without doubt there are always plenty of seats empty. I guess season card holders don’t release them back to the club if they can’t go. The real question is if more did that, would they sell and get closer to the 7500? For some games probably. The bugbear for me is the quality of the match day experience. In the East it’s poor. Last season in the West it was not much better. The club try hard to improve things and that needs to be acknowledged but you can’t make a silk purse etc…. The ground is past its best-by date and then some.

I asked the original question because Leyton Orient as a club seems to have a really good feel around it lots more youngsters and women attending than say ten years ago since our last Wembley appearance for what it's worth i reckon we'd now sell out any allocation given to us say 40,000 Up the O's

Good thing too as the old gits like me stop going as much.

Sure the East Stand could do with smartening up,but I do enjoy its age and the memories within.Must admit I always look up when in the toilets.

Neither Mrs doh nor I used to East Stand toilets last season, I did, once. Thereafter we popped into ASDA on the way to the ground. On the way home it was Waterloo station if an emergency, even the temporary ones were preferable. I’m sure they will be better next season. As for memories, mine of Brisbane Road will remain irrespective of where we play.

I wonder what happened with the talks with the council in regards to relocation. If new stadium is to be part of Leyton Mills redevelopment, then the plans should be known at some point this year. Orient are not mentioned, but then again they are not excluded… talk.walthamforest.gov.uk/leyton-mills-spd

Looks interesting and a possibility of a new ground being fitted in there somewhere. I’m not sure how the council will feel about the necessary need for parking if a bigger ground ever went ahead !

I was happy enough with the roof being fixed Nigel Travis wouldn’t have been happy with my last trip for the Fleetwood game, buying no food nor drink as I didn’t arrive early enough. That written, was there ever a pilot scheme allowing fans at lower league clubs to bring alcoholic drinks into the stands? The new app to order drinks is great, but then there is nowhere to drink it comfortably on the concourse and I don’t really want to sink a pint is less than 15 minutes at half time. www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/tracey-crouch-review-alcohol-ban-leyton-orient-nigel-travis-b968204.html

There will be no parking. There will be two stations; Leyton (Underground) and Ruckholt Road (Overground). In all likelihood there will be a massive exclusion zone on match days, much like the Olympic Stadium where there are roads in distant Clapton and Homerton with event day restrictions. Arsenal have one as well. It will be even harder to park near Wanstead and Snaresbrook at the weekend especially if West Ham are at home on the same day.
