Good points. I’d say on field captain has to launch appeal, ( not coach ), has to be within 10 seconds of the goal or penalty appeal or whatever is disputed and I think maximum of two challenges although one might make players think twice. Puts the pressure back on players rather than the officials. Not perfect, but no system is. One of the problems is that players cheat so much that they have become masters at disguising a foul or feigning a foul . Total hypocrisy and they belong to a union but still try to get fellow players booked . Hard for all officials . One question to ask is what company or what individual involved in the Premier league has links to Sony the company that ultimately owns VAR. Are there individuals with shares or financial inducements that may influence their decisions to keep VAR, if the vote goes to remove VAR what financial loss will they incur if any?.

I suppose us fans cheat as much as the players do with our constant criticism of the officials trying to get an advantage. Pleased we do not have it in the EFL as we can explode at every goal we score, not so good cheering twice.

Too well bred to sweat,I perspire. I glow. Floods of glow when I work out. 💦💦💦🚴🏾♂️🚴🏾♂️🚴🏾♂️ Currently doing Lands end to John O’Groats on a static bike. Using Google maps to simulate and plot route and distance. Not like the real thing, but gets me exercising. 1400 Km. Done 400km so far. Will take 3 months.
