One of the best was the FA cup win away to Fulham…Amongst the worse,Losing 5-1 away to Carlisle, either 12/13 or 13/14season.4 down at half time Just thought of another stinker, 0-4 to the spammers on New Year's Day. I think Mervyn in goal thought he still played for them, freezing cold and a crap start to the year.

I'd say worst matches any of the miserable run to relegation under the Italian clown and succession of failed managers

I'd say worst matches any of the miserable run to relegation under the Italian clown and succession of failed managers Hard to pick out any individual game, just a continuous run of sh!te. And same for first half of first season in National league.

By no means the best game but most unforgettable was Matt Lockwood's 1986 hat-trick against Gillingham when we were 3 down with 15 minutes to go. Half the crowd had left the ground and missed it.

One game akin to that,a year later.3-1 down to Darlington(I think)came back and won 4-3..Could be wrong on this one

Has to be the Chelsea cup win of 1972 A full strength team who were the reining cup winners cup holders at the time.sadly missed the fairbrother goal at the end as was a scared stiff 13 year old in the westside as zillions of Chelsea skinheads attacked os fans Worst game any from the mid 80s when a guy near the players tunnel would shout loudly *bring back mickey b*ll*cks all is forgiven-to Huge laughter

Should never have been played and I believe West Ham got a lucky handball penalty because the ball bounced high on the frozen solid pitch.

Really struggle to think of best and worst games. Promotion winning the best, getting relegated the worst A few games in there that I will always remember, Chelsea 3-2, Oxford, play off finals, that sort of thing. Too many of the upsetting type so I tend to try and forget.

The draw against Aston Villa when we needed to win to get to the top level was very unpleasant.I saw a tramp shuffling along Whipps Cross Road with all his worldly goods in a supermarket trolly on the way home and felt twice as bad.

Redshank, that is exactly the type of game I really want to forget. How did we screw that up? Rhetorical question, we are Orient! Nothing positive comes from reliving past screw-ups.

At the beginning of '74 fair brother, bullock & queen were all flying on one goal every two games. Suddenly they all dried up.was the fear of going into div one with a div 3 stadium an issue. It was in 62-63.we averaged 8000 at. Home by far the worst. next lowest 20k paying high wages which brought a cash crisis of 1966-7. Always thought we should have spent more on our stadium to attract fans. I mean Coates bowles,p Taylor etc and 5500 gates!

Yes that's on my list of great games, and I was there to see it. But 1986? I doubt it given I was barely born then
