I seem to recall that 4,150 sold already is something of a record, particularly with four months to go before the season starts. Did they say there would be ceiling applied in order to get more revenue from the day tickets? If so, it must be soon.

Every year, I consider getting a season ticket, but never quite go through with it. I did get half season tickets in the past as I knew I would be able to make almost all the games as all the dates were known, but with various things that crop up during the season and now the possibility of rearrangements, I would rather just purchase on a game by game basis. Not yet had the experience of not getting a ticket for a game I want to attend. The initial outlay is just too much for me.

In 59 years of supporting the O's, I have never bought a season ticket for exactly that reason.

I’ve believed for a few years now that lower league football has a tremendous opportunity to grow its fan base. Not too expensive, fewer prima Donna’s, close to the action and so on. I’ve little doubt if we played at a bigger, nicer stadium our crowds would regularly be 12/13 k

Orient can tap into 3 or 4 bigger noisy neighbours whose fans have effectively been locked out. Arsenal now have a ticket ballot where members have a 1 in 10 chance (realistically less) of getting a ticket. Chelsea have far fewer tickets available to members and I suspect getting tickets for Spurs and West Ham isn’t that straightforward.

I believe West Ham and Spurs fans look kindly on the O's,many of the new people who sit next to me on match days support these two teams and really enjoy matchday at Brisbane Road.Nearly all say they will return a few more times during the season. I feel our club has broken its shackles and is trying very hard for further success.
