I'm glad to see there is a Senior side back at Walthamstow. Happy memories as a kid watching O's and the Avenue. My Dad took me to watch the Amateur cup final at the old Wembley between Avenue and West Auckland Town in 1961. 60,000 plus attendance thats how strong the support was in days past for the so called Amateur game at the top level. |
