Orient need a top striker to make any sort of promotion push.
Mooney - I think one season wonder
Lisbie - too old now to carry the team
Dagnall - Good player but not a 20 goal a season striker

One top striker signing and at least one good quality loan striker. Obviously decent attackers are the most difficult and most expensive people to get hold of, but if they want promotion I'm afraid the new management is just going to have to fork out because without Moses the existing incumbents don't seem to pack too much punch.

Big and strong he could be a decent signing with the crosses Cox puts in and someone putting crosses in from the right.

He could be the part of a strike force that we've been missing. A huge great lump upfront. That's a role that nobody else can current fit. Still don't address the pace issue.

He is a lump and can score but he can also be lazy and uninterested in the game at times aswell as a liability for getting himself sent off. Think you could do better tbh

We also have Kashket I know he's young and all, but has experience playing in Spain, so would be use to some sort of top football, maybe bleed him in.

How big a part will Lisbie be able to play this season at the age of, what, 36? If we're really going for it, as opposed to hoping to be there or thereabouts, then we need all the goal threat we can muster and something more than we've currently got.

Do we need 6 Strikers Or are some on the way out? Well the current strike force didn't do too much tonight admitedly against good defence and goalkeeper. Worst case scenario is that Slade is too stubborn to play these new boys over his 'favoured bunch' and leaves himself open to be sacked by owner who has forked out on Henderson and Simpson. |
