Ipswich didn’t extend his contract! He’s a free agent!

Where did you find this information? I looked on Ipswich website and found nothing and searched on Google and found nothing.

If things look too good to be true they probably are. If true we have a chance. But other clubs will offer him higher wages than us.does he have emotional attachment to us? Our only chance.

If he does sign for us which is highly unlikely(would love El Miz to) some posters will talk about coffee.

I’m sure there will be plenty of teams willing to pay him significantly more than we can afford and I doubt he would give up money because he enjoyed his time here. Same reason we lost Smyth and Vigs last year and probably what Soteriou, Happe and James are looking for right now. Players need to earn what they can in a short career and I don’t blame them. We are just an employer. But we can hope.

It’s also strange as I spoke about pre season last year regarding Jack Payne as the first player mentioned in the article.
I knew Jack through my ex partner who was a family friend. Top lad and a brilliantly player. Would be a significant upgrade as a number 10 to hopefully replace Moncur.

that links brings back a 404. Is that Jack Payne who was at Swindon and now Charlton?

I seriously rated him at Swindon he ripped us a new one when we played them. Scored goals and made assists. Very classy player in my opinion. RW knows him and can get the best out of him. My son however, says he was terrible at Charlton. I'd sign him, RW can get the best out of him once more and we have a proper player on our hands. What's not to like?

I’d expect El Miz to go out on loan again and I guess Ipswich will be looking for a Championship side. If he doesn’t cut it, or get much game time, reckon he’ll be sold in January.
