That's still not been decided has it? Think that financial contribution has not been been agreed by them, that moneybwas on the last deal not the new one.

And just like that a proper update on the pitch! It's not been dug up which was my vision from the opening post.
That sounds better and gives us a better understanding of what the club is doing. This is more in line with my initial thoughts, building on the established pitch, adding to it and keeping it lovely.
We should now have a much better pitch than last season as its had a year of growth and bedding in.

Saves money rather than wasting it as some have suggested.

Sorry for misleading you Thor, it was lazy on my part. I was a groundsman in a former life and 'digging up the pitch' was how we referred to the end of season work whatever it involved.
I was responsible for two cricket squares and two football pitches at Alexandra Park Sports Club. My one claim to fame was the O's sent a team to play Harringay Borough in a pre season friendly. Borough included a young Ricky Otto in the team and it was that game that brought him to our attention I think.

No problem timmo, I thought digging up the pitch meant the whole surface is replaced like it has been for the past few years as it showed in the video of what they did last year.
I found that to be crazy after spending somewhere near a million pounds on this super pitch which should require less work to keep it in top condition.
I'm pleased it's a clean and top up as it was looking better at the end of the season than it did at the beginning! I'm pleased that the club has invested in such a surface as it shows the depth of what the owners want as a standard for our club.
Now we need is some nice new fresh and good players to grace it as they fire us up the league!
