So every bad signing is Ling's and every good signing is Richie's and never do they agree or work together. Got ya 🫡 Reading things not said. So you didn't say this?

Evans likes an instant coffee. Fine. Our strategy has worked up until now.

All this late signing stuff is getting boring. Haven’t Wellens and Travis said in previous interviews that we sometimes have to wait for other clubs/players to make up their minds before signing? If we were a richer club and could blow other suitors away with outrageous offers, then doubtless we’d get earlier signings, but we are not that wealthy.

If we were a richer club and could blow other suitors away with outrageous offers, then doubtless we’d get earlier signings, but we are not that wealthy. RW made the point about richer/bigger clubs and it a fair point and something we already knew. It applies to every professional club in the pyramid bar maybe one or two. We are not unique in that respect. So we need to wait until the rich pickings have been picked so we can fight over what’s left. It’s the way it is. We know that. We understand that. However, all clubs in league 1 are signing players bar us and Reading (who can’t) so clearly others in the same boat as us, are getting on with it. We are not. Us fans need to be realistic. All eager to talk about a new face etc, the excitement associated with new players and so on. Only natural but we know deep down we need to be patient. The club has a job to do and get it right. The impact of a mistake long lasting. But as we have seen, late signings don’t always mean we get it right! So procrastination isn’t always the solution. In fact in some instances it has been the problem. But it is the club saying we need to be quicker and that’s the point. RW comments about the impact last season, NT saying we need to be quicker. So fans normal impatient approach is one thing, senior club management is definitely on another level. What we have is the club setting the goals and those goals not being met. Nothing to do with us fans impatience, which don’t matter. All we can hope for is our core requirements have been identified and will be signed in sufficient time for Richie to have the positive preseason he has clearly stated he wants. Still time. And I’d be staggered if the transfer committee don’t give RW what he wants. I remain positive. If we don’t give Richie what he wants, other clubs out there will.

Come on Red! Do we want to start all these coffee jokes again! Bean there. Done that. Maybe a STAR costs too many BUCKS. They just Costa lot. Anyway, I’m off the coffee and onto the beer. A few bottles to support our new sponsors. A hard thing to do in this hot weather but someone’s got to do it. 😂😂😂

So you seem to agree with what I've said, but have pointed out that the club would like us to be quicker if that is possible, which is a fair point. Not sure where you get the idea from that the club 'procrastinates', that would imply we are putting off making decisions, but the only sort of decisions would be to move on from a target and go for our second or third choice rather than wait on the player we really want to sign to make a decision. This is all conjecture and you'll probably want to reply and repeat yourself, but just tell me you disagree and to read your previous submissions, it saves me time and stops Mrs Buff from asking why I'm spending so long on the computer.

If you continue to roast me will have to filter out your comments . I personally am still full of beans and stirred by coffee references in our transfer dealings. Let’s hope Lingy brings a couple of South Americans to the club soon and we’re not latte again! 😆😆☕️👍

Better to be journalistic in style brief,to the point, save keyboard time and keep wives happy. It would've helped everyone though if lingy could've said keep the faith,I've some great news shortly. But he's more secretive than James bond.

He’s neither shaken nor stirred. Perhaps after dark he's engaged in work for MI5. I once looked at applying to MI5 / MI6 but the pay was not good so didn't bother, true fact.

Rotherham up to 10 incoming. Bloody amateurs don’t know what they’re doing. Relegation beckons and deservedly so for blindly rushing in like that.

Don't know the state of the outs there, but some must be on payouts to go. Their accounts may get hammered with all the ins and outs this window.
