Desperately sad news that Kevin Campbell has died. His contribution to our promotion in 1989 was immense and his inclusion a pivotal moment in the campaign. RIP and thanks Kev.

Taken far too young. As said above his arrival in 1989 turned the season around and we never looked back. RIP Big Kev.

Terrible news and very sad, such a young age to pass away at. I watched him on a podcast maybe last year and he looked really well and spoke so positively about life in general. As a player he has probably had the biggest impact of all players over what was a short period of time in my time of supporting the O's. His arrival and obviously his goals turned a team going nowhere into one which won promotion. His impact was immense. May his soul rest in eternal peace. www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-13533153/Kevin-Campbell-dead-54.html

Can't say I ever saw him play for the O's as I was only born in 89 when he joined but do remember his later career a little bit. R.I.P Big Kevin Campbell

What a saviour he was-so impressive. Remember mark cooper going round that goalie all on his own and putting the ball wide of the goal.worse miss ever at brizzy. But we still won cos of king Kev's goals v Torquay.their goalie got carried off with a broken leg.memorable game or what. Rip kevin
