"O’s News - Official" For a minute I thought we signed a goalie ! It's poor form to approach players while they're away with their national teams. Will be at least a couple of weeks before we announce Donnarumma. |

Today one year ago we signed Max Saunders and this year we haven't signed anyone, does that mean we are slower than last year and we are not meeting Ritchies expectations? (Tongue planted firmly in cheek)

(Tongue planted firmly in cheek) Come on Lingy sort it out! 😂😂😂 Ling just making sure people know he is the boss and will do as he sees fit including speed. Once that has been re established the new player announcements will flow. Absolutely sure we will be ready for preseason. Confident of that. just read we are one of only 3 teams in league 1 yet to make a signing. Reading are one but not able to due to background shenanigans apparently. Is that us just being down the pecking order, waiting for the bigger teams to take first pick. Hope not! |

Not sure it holds water with the Ling/ Wellens dynamic though. Interesting viewpoint however. |

Not sure it holds water with the Ling/ Wellens dynamic though. Interesting viewpoint however. Some of the interviews with both Ling and Jackett together were embarrassing. I think that relationship still exists, though probably in a much gentler form. RW is in a strong position. But all too often we’ve seen RW say things as he wants them and they don’t materialise and him modify his stance too. Also even seen NT making comments of speed of player acquisition backing up RW to a degree in a tactical gentle way. But as we are seeing, being only 1 of three league 1 clubs yet to sign a player (Reading apparently cannot yet due to background shenanigans) the need for speed as spelt out by RW and reiterated by NT has not made a jot of difference. No surprise to us fans. And despite RW talking about a pecking order, which we all understand, I don’t believe we are that far down the pecking order with other clubs similar to us doing business. Of course we will bring in players. But who and when as Ling sees fit. All I hope is they are worth the wait and we don’t end up with another ‘Pigs’ breakfast by being too slow. |

Their 1698 beer is a corker in my opinion. Bit like Broadside.
Don’t like Spitfire or Masterbrew.
Their Stout is very good as well, and on the lighter side Whitstable Pale Ale.
