I suspect HMRC know all about these gigs.Come to think of it I have not filed my tax returns this year. £350,000 is not a bad price,is it leasehold.

Think its leasehold.not a bad price actually this day and age. I prefer an old house any day. Those new builds are terrible.tiny dolls houses, damp after two years etc

Had a few damp places this year, one cost £1000 to investigate and eradicate. The house was built in 1936,a very attractive house with big 30s style windows but starting to feel its age.

I sold my 2 bed house in Leyton for just over 200k ten years back. Its worth three times that now! The pain, the pain Feel your pain there for sure. Back in 1998, I sold my 2 Bed flat in Walthamstow Village for peanuts after the breakup of my relationship. After my ex and I split everything, I ended up with two grand post sale... Now, I sold that flat to a mate so I could bugger off to Australia (the two grand paid my fare)..He made a fortune on it, moved to a property on the banks of the Thames in Surrey and is now retired at 50 years of age in Devon...I went back to UK for first time in 19 years last year and now realize how much that tiny flat would have been worth today.....Still, its probably not worth waking up in the wee small hours and imagining what would have been if only you had the gumption to hold on to the damn thing is it??

I know how your house feels. 👨🦯 Agree but I don't have the damp patches.Catching up on the many jobs that one does throughout the spring and early summer due to unforeseen circumstances,my body just says NO!,but nearly caught up with said jobs and by this time next week all will be normal. The worst job was the wretched paving bricks in the driveway, some unrecognised weeds took over almost every gap.I have many books on wild flowers and know many, but this blighter I could not find in any of the books.

Downundero, walthamstow village was just taking off when you sold. Shame you couldn't keep and rent it out while in aust.but I understand your reasons. London is crazy money to live.no wonder key workers leave in droves. Still hope you love it down under

That is no way worth £350 plus. You are paying for location within that price. Put that in the outers and it's 100k less.

Eastlondonadvertiser has photos inc inside looks OK. Agent is Allen Davies 02034 636962 You could ask for more info or go on their list for future chances. If I was young I'd see it has a good starter home that will give good returns when sold. Thor is correct, but its the crazy state of London's economy I'm afraid

Property in London only goes one way in value view downundero and my experiences above. If you live outside London you'd pay travel season ticket 30grand plus in ten years.and save say 15grand on o's season tickets Plus more time in bed, less travel. Only if you have a steady well paid job of course Mortgages are stressful things sometimes
