I thought it rather unusual to issue a small extract on a footballers medical on line.
I assume it was done to attempt to address the criticism voiced on social media forums re the propensity of lofc signing players that have had a historical serious injury.
Personally I wish the player all the best and I am sure he will do well.
However I don’t agree with lofc strategy of posting that extract - to me it just over emphasis in the wrong way the club should be advertising their processes.
I would have objected if I had been the player.
What surprises me is to show a snippet of the player being asked the status of his medical health in one particular season or seasons.
I would of assumed players could have their football medical history passed on from the previous clubs doctor to the new club doctor in a private manner and the questions addressed to the player would be a secondary means of validation.
I know the club pride themselves on diversity, transparency and appear too sensitive to social media on any subject - but this is a video that crosses the line as it sets a precedent for the future and is inappropriate and not relevant to player / club or fans.

Stuff like this is private and should remain so. In a world where some want to know everything from transfer fees to wages in my opinion it’s important to respect the rights of people to have privacy. Medical examinations fall into that.
But in fairness any published stuff will have the individual’s permission.

The other aspect is that the club are transparent and with the players permission are demonstrating that they have players fit for the new season. Therefore are not after one game spending the time injured and attending the rest of the season at Whipps Cross outpatients Dept.

Link please as to where this particular information be found, is it on the club internet site ?

I also dont use twitter and do not have a smart phone, what do you use then? A computer? I have a very nice desktop computer windows ten. I have no use for a smart phone, the pc does everything that i need and as it is, I spend FAR too much time on it researching so many topics ! I am 77 years old in bad health due to many factors and at home a lot. I also use Skype to chat to friends the world over.
