Some of these prices are outrageous for third division football.
There's already talk of some clubs doing Reciprocal pricing, so we can look forward to getting fleeced in the same way our club is fleecing travelling fans. Add to that all the changes to kick-off times etc you have to wonder if the time/expense is worth it.

East stand - £25 for most games, £30/£32 for big games. Not terrible, but it would make me think about not going when it’s on TV and an awkward kick off time. Midweek games will all be broadcast, so I would have expected a category C like last season to encourage people to turn up, especially when UEFA matches are on. Also I need to revise my football club badges. Had to look up Wrexham as the third category AA game. And struggling with three of the category A opposition, only recognising Reading and Bolton.

£37 for a home game against charlton i think is rediculous. Yes, of course i want the team to push on etc but its very steep imo

I wouldn’t pay match day price of £37, however it’s highly likely to sell out so it wouldn’t be an option. A lot of games sold out last season, despite the empty seats. That written, I need to ask some season ticket holders I know if they would be willing to sell me their ticket when they don’t use it. Not sure what they get from ticket exchange, but I can match it cash in hand along

I feel this is done intentionally to push the council into proving our stadium is no longer fit for purpose. The club will argue that due to high demand and limited capacity the club can not currently offer affordable football in the Borough.
If you listen back to Nigel at the AGM he talks about the club having to prove to the council that we need to move and part of that will be offering affordable sport to the local community.
It's just a huncb

I bought a season ticket but seeing the price's on season tickets go up and ridiculous match day pricing makes me wonder if it's worth it. TBH, once I feel like the club is mugging us off, it may be time to find another past time for a Saturday afternoon.

Personally I wonder if it’s more about “ encouraging “ season card holders to maintain their tickets rather than picking and choosing their matches on a pay as you go basis? Given the new prices, my location , changed kick off times , the cost of train fares and general unreliability of services I will certainly be scaling down my visits to Brisbane Road this season. Fortunately I do already have Sky so will utilise that from the comfort of my own home on those chilly winter evenings. 👍

TBH, once I feel like the club is mugging us off, it may be time to find another past time for a Saturday afternoon. When Bechetti was stinking out the place, complimentary tickets were available left, right and centre. And it was like that for the first season in National League. I did get a pair of half season tickets in 2018/19 which amounted to 24 tickets for about £150 with guest tickets included. Nowadays, that would be 5 or 6 games. Ultimately, Orient have to look to be profitable and the prices reflect this. I don’t think Orient are mugging off the support as even with £30 tickets they are not profiting. Football clubs are pricing out supporters, but it is an expensive business so they have to raise the revenue somehow. At the third level, gate receipts are especially important. There is a danger that if Orient don’t do well, people won’t buy tickets on a game by game basis, especially when games are broadcast. Of course, if they are in contention for promotion, every game will sell out!

Wont be going to Bolton game as I am at a wedding, and won’t be going to Birmingham game as it is a bank holiday weekend and we are going away. There will be more as the season goes on, especially with unknown kick off times.

Some keep asking the club to buy players with little or no money.Maybe the new ticketing prices will help;It is only two cups of coffee more.

Its interesting what they have done. My mate is an Arsenal season ticket holder and they take your season ticket off you if you don't attend a certain amount of games!

Im ok with that. When I go to gigs I often pay for more and the main band rarely plays for more than 90 mins.
That said, I occasionally go to Village Underground and see Channel One and thats £12 for 6 hours!

You can put the ticket on the exchange or transfer it to a friend and it still counts as an attendance. The only time it doesn’t count is if you don’t pass it on in some way.

Normally not an option with football as tickets are only sold on official exchanges via ticketmaster. Only club that uses Twickets is QPR and I can’t be bothered with them Alternatively there are seat filler sites where you can get tickets for shows for a small booking fee. Helps if you have wide ranging tastes as all sorts of things come up.

On one hand we expect our owners to shell out big bucks on new players, staff and facilities. Yet complain about match day tickets for entertainment that is often cheaper than local theatre or a round of drinks in the local. Really! Want cheap football go over Hackney Marshes. Want to support (the word support is a clue) our club prosper in league 1 and hopefully progress! then we each need to do our bit. Appreciate for some that may be difficult so attend when you can.

I do still think this is partly down to the club presenting the council with a future plan of more affordable football IF we have a bigger capacity BUT ....
Fans aren't stupid and neither is the board, if you are rising prices like this then the club has to show ambition to compete and that has to come with an improved squad. Over to you Lingy

I do still think this is partly down to the club presenting the council with a future plan of more affordable football IF we have a bigger capacity... In my experience moving to a new stadium will make it less affordable. Just look at the noisy neighbours. Ticket prices at Spurs and Arsenal are eye-watering and I suspect they are not dissimilar at West Ham. Also the cost of food and drink is exorbitant. You could have a three course dinner at The Ivy for less than burger, fries and coke.
