Ok. Let’s assume we play with a goalkeeper and back 4, that’s 5. Any 3 from gailbraith, brown, Oberio, pratley and the new kid from Everton, that leaves 3 places up front from Agyei (a cert) graham, kellman and Ollie . I think he will go with Agyei kellman and graham. Of course we could play with just 2 in midfield , so who do we leave out. For the first season in a while the starting 11 does not automatically pick itself, even the centre half position is debatable. If nothing else it show that apart from the keeper and full backs we have quality in depth.

Think we'll see a midfield of Brown/Warrington/Galbraith. Too early to expect much from Obiero and too late to expect much from Pratley.
As far as the front 3 goes, I think we'll rotate a lot to avoid the problems of last season. We've got good options there.

Very good comment.I think Brown will play a very important part in how we will fare in the new season. As an attacking mid fielder who can get defensive when needed he will help O's immensely, pity he is not on a longer contract.

Injuries, illnesses, current form, suspensions etc will soon take care of who to choose in the starting line up.
Plus substitutions will give others a chance to shine. We always get these questions at the start of a new season, then after a while struggling to fill the subs bench with suitable fit players !

Zach played well at Welling, he was composed on the ball, he was continually making himself available and I don’t recall him giving it away once. He was very neat and tidy. Probably all the things the coaching team is looking for. He will if he continues to listen and learn have a big part to play this season. I like him as a player, I think he’s gonna be very good.

I think it'll be a breakout season for him, just that he'll be used sparingly at first.

Just realised , a genuine oversight on my part I totally forgot about George moncour, maybe it was an omen.

Who was in the No9 shirt at St Alban's? He looked very determined if a bit slight for a CF.
