I think it's also key to make sure we beat the teams that we should beat, maximising those points.

A little concerning is the amount of players whose minutes on the pitch have to be minded Graham, pratley,DJ,moncur.we can't have too many impact sub's surely. Still RW is smiling and theres three weeks of window left

Last season we wiped the floor with champions portsmouth and took points off of the likes of Bolton barnsley charlton and many more.Nothing to fear sure we'll lose some but we won't get relegated there are a lot of teams far worse than us.Cambridge burton northampton shrewsbury stevenage crawley mansfield and so on

Looking back to the 2013-14 Season League one was pretty tough too, with the likes of Sheffield United, Coventry City, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Peterborough United, Preston North End, I'll add in Bradford City aswell as they are a "Big Club" although now of course a League Two Club, all of the above bar Peterborough are now Championship Clubs, I consider the big hitters this season to be obviously Birmingham City, Bolton Wanderers, Huddersfield Town, Barnsley, Peterborough United and Rotherham United have spent a few quid as well, I am not suggesting or assuming we will repeat our exploits of the 2013-14 Season btw.
On paper we have an extremely difficult start to the Season in fact the whole of August and September imo looks very difficult indeed, nevertheless Football is not played on paper and I am looking forward to seeing us playing against these so called bigger clubs with Richie in charge and seeing what we can do.

I like GM I am hoping if he remains at lofc this season with the guidance of his father an ex footballer and his own motivation he can achieve by merit a place in the team and really demonstrate his value to all - thus elevating himself from the subs classification which he appears to of got at the moment
That could prove to be pivotal in our progression this season

We got lucky and took advantage. A balance for the 4-0 drubbing we got at our place, never 4 goals in it. Alongside some very credible results we had some shockers. The point being we need to look at the season overall not cherry pick and we did very well. We had injuries, but other clubs too had their share. We forget that. I too have been following clubs closely during the window. Some continue to build. Burton for example have been amazingly active, it remains to be seen if they improve but my guess is they will. The clubs you mention could well finish above us. Stevenage/Crawley apart, they are looking stronger than last season. I’m not too sure we are, given Theo and Graham already limited. Simpson and Moncur lacking fitness and a bunch of untried young players expected to perform. Those you mention are unlikely to be pushing at the top end but I doubt that is where our fight will be. But we shouldn’t go down.

Too often he passes backwards or sideways. Also, he fails to shoot when he has sight of the goal.

It seems to be an inherent problem, that is why most of our goals are worldies.

Improves the possession figures but does naff all for the chances and goals numbers. If we are to compete this season, a feature of our game that needs addressing.
