Lot of people predicting they are going to walk this league, but will it be as easy as that for them?
Big pressure on the Birmingham manager Davies who is new to the job.
The owners have already sacked a handful of managers, Davies has only worked as a number two and whilst he wants to replicate the pressing, forward thinking style that Spurs are trying to play, getting players in the lower leagues to replicate this may be difficult.
I can see a lot of teams parking the bus against them and hitting them on the counter. The owners have spent a lot of money on this squad and if there isn't immediate success, will they be trigger happy or let the manager find his feet?

I’d sooner have money to do my thing with all the expectations and risks that brings than to have to dip into the barrel after others have taken their pick. That too carries risks. Professional managers stand or fall by what they achieve, or not. No easy rides.

Birmingham are a club and a fanbase that is used to losing.Hardly won any games over the last five years. They should be too strong on paper but if they don't start well it could become toxic

Over the course 46 games I’ll be very surprised if Brum do not end up in one of the automatic promotion spots.

I think they will smash it. If they need reinforcements in Jan I am sure another shed load of money will be at the managers disposal.
They have spent more on one player than our total budget and that's without any wages being talked about.

Birmingham have unbelievably spent £20 million so far and are signing international players, this in the 3rd tier . It will be like playing against a premier side, but wouldn’t it be great if they didn’t get promoted. I know, no chance.

You can buy decent players, but that doesn't necessarily translate to a decent team.
For me the biggest risk the owners are taking is with the manager. Unproven, might be excellent, but might not be able to make the transition to being a No1.
So for me the jury is out, might be another Mckenna, but might be a Fletcher.

They will be surprised at the quality of this league.League 1 players on their best form are a match for any team and can often bring the better teams down to the level league 1 players excel at.Always wondered how many of say our team have to be on top form to get a good result,5 or 6 maybe even less.League 1 players conversely can be just what they are just a division above League 2 on a few occasions and be overwhelmed.

Every game will be like a cup game for them..But I’m sure they’ll rise..Sure they’ll have a few hic cups, but I just can’t see them not being promoted

Don't forget we won league 2 with a lot of league one ready players, it really makes a difference.

Brum will win this league by a country mile come next May.
Will score over 100 league goals, and near 100 points

I wonder what Richie would do if handed a £20m transfer kitty ? You can understand why Birmingham are the bookies favourites to win the title.

If the Blues are not in or around the top spot at Christmas, the manager will get the dreaded CEO vote of confidence and be shafted by January if things do not improve.👎
