Forde showed us he has an attitued problem at back end last season, when he realised we wern't gonna make playoffs, just went through the motions and slackend off to avoid injury May I ask you how did he “show us” ? Are you speaking as a collective voice or do you actually mean it was your impression.? On what grounds did you come to your view? Very simple, you could see he wasn't prepared to risk injury as we all realised the play offs were beyond our reach, going through the paces, a player turns off. wasn't interested anymore, Remember he wasn't our player, RW saw it and turned to others he could rely on.

We’re getting decent players in, kept decent players from last season, Richie is building a squad to go places.

So who is next in the door? What position is up for challenge? Or are we now done till the Jan window?
My thoughts are, left back is covered so I don’t see us using budget there, TJ can play here / cover as can Sweens. Job done there I suspect. Centre half we look solid, right back is covered. So no defenders in my opinion.
Midfield I think it all depends on Monks attitude if one further player is brought in, or maybe Donley is that player due to versatility?
Forwards I think one more is needed, Perkins is taking time to settle and understand what’s required although the boy does have ability he just needs to up his work rate both on and off the ball in my option. However, I would get it if we went with what we have.
Keeper he needs to settle down quickly as he making mistakes that’s costing us goals. We’ve had two shots on target and let in three goals. Unreal. He has to give his defenders confidence otherwise their belief in him will evaporate quite quickly if he keeps on making howlers.
We could well be done with business now till Jan, Monks could still be a kingpin in the team or a catalyst for one other incoming.
What’s your thoughts?

I make you right. GM really is at a crossroads, both for himself and for us. Interesting that he's reported to have agreed to move on but the only clubs asking want us to pay the lion's share of his contract. Clubs are not exactly queueing up.

Other clubs are not Mugs a talented player GM but has history. Clubs are wary of taking a player that may or may not turnup each week and provide a consistent output per week regardless of his mental state.

Think the fact they got Perkins early means he was towards the top of their list so not too worried about him more eager to see what he can do once the minutes increase. Graham to come back so we are looking good now Donley is in. Sweeney not fancied today so for me RW just ain’t got faith in him. That why I think we need further cover on that side. But I can see a fit again Theo eased back in that role

We need a centre forward. Plus the diamond had to go.

Of course injuries crop up that might need to change. Tough going on such a restricted budget.🙁

Tough going on such a restricted budget.🙁 Unfortunately due to the cutting of my Winter fuel allowance my measly contribution to the transfer fund has been withdrawn. Iwonder ìf there are any prospective American or Middle Eastern interest in good old Leyton Orient to inject some funds into the club to take the pressure off of the board in funding additional players before the transfer window shuts. The signing of free agents will this still be allowed outside of the transfer window? or is this not allowed.
