Clearly annoyed and frustrated in equal measure about today’s loss. With only one player expected to be brought on board in the current squad according to RW. The team are going to have to be lucky with injuries this season. Or as a famous wily old manager used to say I'm down to my bare bones team wise. I did notice today the Asst Referees were lax at pulling Charlton up in stealing yards to their advantage on throw ins, but pulled O's at every opportunity if they tried the same tactic. |

On most occasions all teams do this, sometimes steal as much as around 20 yards and annoys me that the ref and linemen see it happen and say NOTHING. |

All team steal yards. we do. If a referee gets pedantic about this or where a free kick should be taken from he get slammed for not letting the game flow. It’s a no win for referees. What you cannot do as a coach is interfere with the player taking the throw or take action to delay a throw. Both are bookable offences and a red card possible.
We as much as anyone else employ game management techniques. Players going down for no reason just to interrupt play or taking too long at a throw, kick etc, sort of thing. We need to stop all this bleating about referees, they will and do make mistakes. Focus on us, our strengths and weaknesses and not look for excuses. Our second half was poor.
