I was not at the match but from watching these highlights seems like we were overrun in the second half and got penned in defending too deep and no midfield defensive cover. Charlton started bombarded us with long balls into the penalty area and we eventually succumbed to the pressure. The goal was not down to Keepers error. Seems like this season so far, we just seem to run out of steam when it comes to the last 20 or so minutes and have just succumbed to the pressure. Back to the drawing room needed to improve on our tactics. Perhaps bring Moncur on for the last part of the game so that we have got at least one midfield player with the ability to actually hold onto the ball and slow things down and try to stop keep losing possession of the ball ? IMO, we still need a strong and mobile target man Centre forward, but seems like those type of players just don't tick Wellin's box.
