Thought our press was good and effort brilliant. Goals given away, rather than Birmingham cutting us open, so some positives from a disappointing result. No complaint and effort and press for sure.

Listen to the RW interview after the game. He gets a call from Blackpool… he’d go in my opinion.

We can't keep gifting teams goals truly awful defending and goalkeeping for both they're goals. We played really well today against the so called best team that's ever played in league one.We were the better team especially second half Donley was excellent as was Brown and Obiero.Gailbrath looked good and i also thought Sweeney had a decent game.We will be ok this season and we have some very exciting players up the O's

Listen to the RW interview after the game. He gets a call from Blackpool… he’d go in my opinion. Blackpool may be enticing for him but I don't think he'll go, not yet. His words strike me as someone who is frustrated at the lack of signing established, experienced players who he can depend on to do a job. I suspect he feels Orient are holding him back and I expect he thinks that Orient are holding ourselves back. He voice has energy, he has bite and that tells me he still cares and if he cares, he'll stay. I could be completely wrong and if I am, then we'll have some worries as RW is very good.

Listen to the RW interview after the game. He gets a call from Blackpool… he’d go in my opinion. I suspect he doesn't know right now what he would do. If he looks at our squad on 1st September and doesn't fancy it, he would go. But a week is a long time in football. He's thrown down the gauntlet to the squad players for the Millwall game. A week to go in the transfer window. Bottom two play next week. NB He's the pro but I don't agree with him that we were the better team. Brum's press was top notch.

"I'm very loyal...I'm never looking to leave until I've taken this club as far as I can take them". He spoke about everyone at and around the club having a completely different mindset to his. To me that instigates he can’t do much more. He played for Blackpool and spoke about them in detail in that interview. If he wasn’t interested, he’d simply say no.

Agree about the effort BB. Couldn’t be faulted really . Once again I thought Brown, Happe and Kelman were excellent with Galbraith not far behind. Also saw a bit more from Obiero than in previous games. Worrying that Wellens seems to have so little faith in the bench though. Making 3 substitutions in the last minute seems a bit of a pointless exercise. Also a concern that neither Graham or Simpson have yet even made it to the bench.

So realistically, about another 4-6 weeks before we can reasonably expect Graham to be in line for a starting role?

Eleven matches without a clean sheet, going back to Stevenage in March. Matches the run that saw the end of Steve Davis and lasted until Justin's fourth match in charge (Oct-Dec 2017)

Comment on the Birmigham forum 'In terms of how well we can play we were poor. A lot of that down to them, their press and how they tried to pass it. Really impressed with them and their attitude to approach the game. Their number 8 was really good, barely gave the ball away always tried to pass forwards or sideways if not. Really brave on the ball. And they were the first team we’ve played who finished the game as strong or stronger than us. They’ll beat some of the top teams in this league. And it makes Salford/Gary Neville and co look a bit daft, considering they’ve had Wellens and how they supposedly want to play.'

"I'm very loyal...I'm never looking to leave until I've taken this club as far as I can take them". All that matters is him having taken the club as far as he can! At what point will that time come along? He could decide that right now. It’s a very ambiguous comment. Though as someone else posted, jobs in football come along quite often so can afford to wait.

How long can he wait. if we lose 10 in a row his stock would plummet. DV may have opened a can of worms by bringing up the question in the public domain. DW didn't look that pleased when asked. If a call is made then I believe he will speak to them with NG's permission

Complete and utter guessing at what RW is thinking . How do you know that RW didn’t have any input in all of our signings .

The table tonight looks a bit dodgy. Ours is a flat pack with a few bits missing. But it will be OK once it’s put together and working
