Just seen a totally white sparrow in the garden. One in a million chance of seeing one, I've just read. Proper snowy white, not just pale.

I get lots of birds coming into my garden owing to the bushes and an old plastic mini pond with a bit of water in it, where they come down for a drink.
Blue tits, Long tailed tits, Coal tits, Great tits, Sparrows, Doves, Magpies, Robins. Never seen a Starling in the garden although I've seen them near the town centre, which is an 8 min walk away.
Sometimes see a Heron and Geese flying over. Once I saw a Swan at an higher altitude.

Swan walking outside my house yesterday. Scared the s**t out of a woman walking her dog when it took off.

Swan walking outside my house yesterday. Scared the s**t out of a woman walking her dog when it took off. I love it when they land, talk about slamming your brakes on. One nicked a fag out of my fingers while I was sitting on the edge of a boat. It's beak felt like 2 lolly sticks smacking together.

Best I can do is a sparrow hawk trying to grab a pigeon, the pigeon was saved by a hanging basket.Didn't think they went for prey that big but I saw it happen.
