Absurd it is. Only just started the season and no need to panic, the wins will come. Soon I hope. I'm not so sure as you, that the wins will come soon, or at all. The team has spirit & fight, but is lacking in quality badly. We are much weaker than last season, in a division thats the strongest its ever been ( probably) We lost Ruel & Idris, & replaced Ruel with Perkins?, & we havent replaced Idris. We replaced Brynn with Hemming, who is a disaster of a keeper, & will cost us deeply this season Before a ball was kicked, i predicted we will be relegated......nothing thats happened in the first three games has made me change my mind. I simply cant think of four worse sides out there There's a week of the window to go, if we signed three or four DECENT quality signings in that time, i may change my opinion, but i doubt if more than one will come in, and i doubt if they'll be of the quality required Im not usually a pessimist, but the facts are so blindingly obvious, how can you realistically think anything else it really is not as bad as you paint. We should have beat Bolton, Charlton should have been a draw and we should have beat Birmingham yesterday. In my mind we should have 7 points. The three teams we've played are going to be there or thereabouts come May and there is no way you can tell me they are better than us. The keeper has cost us massively. The young players are impressing me, you will see how much they will grow this season as it progresses, there's not much to be downbeat about apart from the obvious. On the three league games I've been at, we have nothing to worry about from a footballing perspective, the keeper needs addressing as I agree with Richie we need an older head in midfield and badly need a centre forwrd. There is a lot to be positive about, the only negative is do we have the balls to call time on it? Howes is not the answer either he was like a cat on a hot tin roof v Welling and will be just as bad. Up the O's the roller coaster is off and running and let's see how this all pans out. |

I get you red but he’s a professional..Some of his mistake are so basic..I’d go crazy if my Sunday League keeper did those errors.. Good goalkeepers used to be two a penny when they were just shot stoppers et-al,but now they have to play a bit as well it is not an easy fix as it used to be,What is more annoying is how good the other keepers are although we have been gifted a few goals by a keepers boo boo. Even PL keepers are prone to a cock up - see England's number 1 howler this weekend and the Ipswich keepers balls up. Confidence will come with a few wins under his belt - however, I agree with some others on here, give Sam a chance |

Now I have calmed down a tad,let us consider how the keeper feels,must be an awful feeling.I do feel for him and trust he gets out of this poor spell and shows real good form. I get you red but he’s a professional..Some of his mistake are so basic..I’d go crazy if my Sunday League keeper did those errors.. Exactly ! |
