I absolutely agree with Richie. I've been saying it on here and seem to be against the flow of quite a lot of my fellow borders in my viewpoint.
We are playing well and the future I believe is going to be good, I am seeing lots of positives in our play both with and without the ball. Once we settle down (we win as a team and we lose as a team) we will literally smash a team off the park with a big scoreline.

Certainly hope you are correct. But Richie's teams seem to take a lead then hold onto it by plenty of sideways and backwards passing. On the positive, what a player that Galbraith. The sublime first touch then shot for our goal against Birmingham.offer him a pay rise to stay longer asap

I agree with what Richie is saying, although our subs don't have much of a chance to make an impact if you bring them on with 2 minutes to go.

Once we settle down (we win as a team and we lose as a team) we will literally smash a team off the park with a big scoreline. I recall you saying exactly this the last two seasons under Richie too 😁 Dunno about smashing teams any time soon but we'll be fine. The doomsayers simply have the floor atm cos we've lost 3 on the trot, regardless of who we might've played. The rest of us can only point to the quirks of the fixture list so many times. I'll do it again now 😅 Our first 3 games have been against 3 of the 4 favourites to top the league. After 8 games we would've played 7 of the expected top 10! If you consider us a mid-table team then you have to expect us to be in a misleadingly low position by the end of September. Beat Shrewsbury and scrabble together what points we can before we start climbing the table in October. We'll go on one of Richie's perennial unbeaten runs at some point between then and the end of the year. My only fear is the goalkeeping issue dragging on. We need to give Howes a chance today.
