He has some knockers on here and I hope the last 2 games are starting to demonstrate he is good enough. I know he is, I believe in him.
He is one of our own, back him, don't slate him. We've got your back Sweens.

We've got your back Sweens. Whilst I’m not yet totally convinced, it seems to me that he’s matured a bit this season physically, is imposing himself more and is even winning headers, something he rarely did before. He also seems to be concentrating more on the defensive side of his game, I’ve not noticed many if any overlaps from him, and although we lose a bit in that respect, his defensive positioning has definitely improved because of it.

I like Sweens. What was really noticeable last night was he was extremely tight to close his man. Got really tight and didn’t give space at all. I like that. Previous seasons gave a little too much room but this Sweeney will be a better player for this style.

Still has a way to go I think but did very little wrong last night that’s for sure.

I think he started to prove he was good enough last season. One game that sticks in my mind was the against the odds 1-0 win at home against Bolton. I thought he was immense in that game and played an absolute blinder.

Seems that maybe RW has seen a weakness at LB and decided to rectify it by bringing in Jack Currie?
