Birmingham have bid £10m for Fulham striker Jay Stansfield. Unreal, would be a league record transfer fee. It's total madness if it happens. Rejected by Fulham.

It not madness if they can afford it and the move comes off and helps fulfil Birmingham’s obvious ambition to return to the Championship next season. How can we not think “Little Leyton Orient” when you see figures like that in the same league as us!! 😁 I think the “ little Leyton Orient” mindset is ingrained in the psyche of lots of fans already sadly. Another great benefit from the “£earn years”!🫤

Another great benefit from the “£earn years”!🫤 Hearn orchestrated a benign little orient mentality by the way he smuggly mentioned he'd saved us numerous times. Then built subbuteo national league stands behind each goal Just to rub in the point.

You have to win in life in whatever you do and hearn is a winner so was surprised when he spouted that crap. Like Richie said in a recent interview "I've got to change the mindset of EVERYONE in the club" which was quite telling actually. If you don't aim for the stars you will never get there. Think big, think positive and it can be achieved.

Genuine question, what happened to the loan window?
I seem to remember that it used to be that 7 days after deadline day a "loan Window" opened for a month.
When was that discontinued?
I understand you can still bring a Keeper in on an emergency loan.

Its not greedy for us to want another promotion shortly after gaining two. Let's keep on a roll Think big,be big.

Thinking big is exactly right, but it needs to be a planned thinking big. Exactly what our owners did and exactly why 5 year plans exist. That way thinking big through structure and planning allows you to not only achieve but maintain what has been achieved.
But I’d love us to get into the Championship, even if relegation quickly followed as it did in our season in the sun. I loved every minute. But I accept we just don’t have the structure to maintain it. Maybe for us right now, thinking big is becoming a solid league 1 team. Given our recent history that is pretty big.

Few rumours started to do the rounds, including Spurs young keeper Josh Keeley. No doubt all nonsense but with 8 hours to go it’s going to happen.
So a rumour that’s not nonsense! Wow

How must Sam Howes be feeling about this? If Hemming is so poor they want to hire another loanee it suggests they really don't think much of Howes.
From the games I saw him play last season I should say he showed promise, but needed a decent run. The GK coach would know best though and it all suggests he will never be more than a back-up.

Can only imagine that Hemmings is going back?
Pointless otherwise.
Or Howes has had enough and is going out on loan himself.

What I’m surprised about is that we haven’t had any loans in from Bournemouth due to Matt Harold new role. As loans manager I’m sure they must have some good talent (excluding that striker!) that we could have had from him.
