Heard the name,cannot recall him playing. Apparently he “ fell down the pecking order after struggling with fitness” !😆 From what I can see he hasn’t played a game since April 2023! |

He could have lost his legs and arms in tackles but he never gave up !!! Not the most talented but his commitment and never say die attitude was the best. |

Dave Harper,a favourite for good reason of those who were around at that time. My favourite player of all time ! He was like Monty Pythons Black Knight. He could have lost his legs and arms in tackles but he never gave up !!! Not the most talented but his commitment and never say die attitude was the best. He had to retire after a bad knee injury. I went to his testimonial v hammers in 1971. He was in pain but still got to the centre spot to wave to the cheering fans Orient said he had a heart as big as a bucket. Served Millwall with distinction before joining us. |
