I'm not envious of the money thing at all. I can't complain as it isn't my money.
I like our approach. I just think as supporters we don't need to hear it as it demotivates you.
I like our current players and the ones we've signed. I really do. I know they aren't the finished article because if they were they would sign elsewhere for more money. We know this rhetoric. Heard it a million times. And it's the right approach.

I disagree with Nigel about Sky being a great deal and we will see that in years to come.
We've already had a cancellation due to call up with more to follow. That then moves to a Tues night which I can't make due to coaching, so that's another game I Will miss. If that continues, I don't see the point in getting a season ticket in future which is not what the clubs needs or wants.

They can potentially make more from individual ticket sales and be left with fewer empty seats from no shows. (I'd argue the Sky deal makes this less viable, but don't get the impression the club sees things the same way.) Seems like quite a few clubs are trying to degrade the value of their season tickets for exactly this reason.

If we don’t provide winning football on the pitch, then demand for tickets will fall off a cliff.

But I think that is short sighted. I think Thor's point is more that we've bought the tickets so the club can't sell them now anyway. Nobody is winning.

If we don’t provide winning football on the pitch, then demand for tickets will fall off a cliff. And this is ultimately what it comes down to. We've been riding the crest of a wave for 6/7 years now. The place is buzzing. But a year or two of stagnating and demand will drop off. We've seen it over the years.
