San Marino have defeated Liechtenstein 1-0. Losing streaks are made to be broken.

Scotland were doing the messing about at the back a lot last night against Poland. It mostly led to a panicky long ball and losing possession

Yup,teams that have a long losing away record have done for us in the past,I think the season we were pipped at the post for promotion to the first division we were beaten by Sheffield Wednesday and Cardiff City both with an away losing sequence..My memory may need jogging however. Could not help myself with the Orient reference on this non Orient thread.I am considering deleting it.What is your opinion.

Yes Cardiff & sheff weds did beat us that season. Cardiff hadn't won away for nearly two years, and we were going well. They played terrific and deserved their win. San Marino had to win that game surely or pack it in.well played and I bet many more now.

That is why every point should be fought for during the season,no giving up no matter the score. That is when players such as Darren Pratley show their worth.

I don’t subscribe to the Scots notion - some support whoever is playing England. I don’t support whoever is playing Scotland and if they do well, I’m happy for their fans. Same for Wales and Northern Ireland. Why would I support any country over a neighbour.

The Orient fans on this forum bring those tales to life as they have seen so much.Quite remarkable how good our memories are of so long ago with the occasional stutter. They carry the very soul of the club with them with their memories.

Shrewsbury being shown what a poor team they are, Wrexham 3-0 up, Ollie Palmer scoring the first. How the feck did they do us 3-0. Saying that Wrexham don’t look that good in the bits I’ve seen. Barnsley play nice football and should be beating Rovers, but a goalkeeper error (happens elsewhere) allows Ruel a tap in to an empty net.
Ruel off after an hour, same for Palmer.
What is clear is that these teams whilst not employing the high press, look to go forward.
Shaq Ford on for Rovers. Definitely sticking mostly with this.

A view about the dicking about at the back. When we watch Spanish teams, each player is so skilled with ball at his feet, it's a once per season rarity that a high press will get it off him. How can the Spanish be so darn good at the individual level? I now live in Spain and was at hotel for a short break whilst we had the builders in to wrecked our house ! At our hotel we overlooked a big sport centre with loads of pitches. Seven days a week from early in the morning to late at night (school holidays) the kids and teenagers were out on the pitches training (didn’t see many actual matches played) they seemed to spend most of their time running and passing, walking and passing, standing and passing and being harassed and tackled and trying to pass. It must be so ingrained that it becomes second nature. I reckon most of our kids would get bored doing this.
